The Healthy Homes Inspection Process

Upon acceptance of our quotation to insect your properties(s) we will organise with yourself or the Tenant access to the property to complete the inspection.   The inspection will take approximately one hour to complete and we will require access to all rooms of the property and full access around the outside of the property. If Tenants are not able to be home during the inspection time allocated a key to the property must be provided.

We will provide 4 days- notice in advance of the inspection to the Tenants and we will email them and send a text message.

At the completion of the inspection, we will provide you with a full 20- page statement and a compliance certificate for any categories that pass the standards. In addition, we have supply partners who work closely with us who can provide quotations for any work needed. With us also owning Waikato Insulation, we will automatically provide you with a free quotation for insulation or Ground Moisture Barrier if work is required.

If you manage a portfolio of properties, we can provide a spreadsheet that allows you to overview and manage the regulations of your properties as they become compliant. This traffic light report is included in our service for large Property Management Companies.

We have been inspecting rental properties for the past 5 years to comply properties to the RTA 2016 Regulations and have the experience and skill set needed to provide support for the new Healthy Homes 2019 Regulations.
